Several years ago, I was diagnosed with celiac disease. Several members of my family- including my son, my mother, and my sister also have it. Eating gluten free isn't always easy, but cheating isn't worth the "gluten hangover". So, I am always on the lookout for great gluten free recipes and restaurants.
In this blog, I share my daily triumphs and struggles as I try to do it all. I am also the co-host of the The Special Mom Show podcast. It is a friendly show for moms of children with Autism, Asperger's, Sensory Processing Disorder, Down Syndrome, ADD and related conditions. Usually we are focused on our kids and their special needs. But on The Special Needs Mom Show, we talk about ourselves, and OUR special needs. Because if we're not healthy and well taken care of, how can we ever take care of our families?!?!
